8 bearded bird on Taxi.net

Check out the mount on the "Turkey of The Month" thread over on Taxidermy. net.  The bird has 8 beards and is said to be a record as far as NWTF score goes.  I don't care so much about the score, but check out how incredible the bird is, not to mention the mount.

Wow what a bird!!

Thats a good bird for sure, seams to be quite darker than usual. How do you score turkeys?

The NWTF has a scoring sheet on its website you can use to score your birds. I cant remember the exact formula but I think its weight, plus beard length times two, pluse combined spur length times ten. Not sure though, probably should look it up.
