Saw some Gooserbat box and pot calls at Rodgers Sporting Goods store, right along side the major companies. Congrats, Way to go!

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

I learned of gooserbat from OG. Bought a bacon at the show and spoke to you briefly. Now with this latest giveaway I'm considering your box call too. Although box call purchase will probably unfortunately have to be next year. As I'm just starting turkey hunting so already spending alot. How would you describe your box call? Raspy wise? And what wood is it? I like the build of the paddle. Do you have any videos of you running the box? Sorry for all the questions I'm just anxious to buy a box call and debating on which one so when the time comes I can order.

The call breaks from a high front end to a choppy rasp that's solid but not overbearing.  I would say that the rasp is about a 5+ on a scale of 1-10

Pretty good I bet. I'm still learning so I've been listening to sound clips of easterns online. I'm finding most are not as raspy as alot of calls now a days are. I think you can over board with raspyness. People forget it's about what the turkey likes not you. Just like fishing lures, people buy cool looking ones for $20 when usually a rubber worm will outperform or for that matter a real worm.
