Interesting, I get the want an affordable mag blend substitute but #7 lead while it might help boost numbers on paper isn't worth much in the energy department down range if guys try and push it like they would the hevi stuff. The 20 gauge loads might be nice

Love to hear what All about shooting has to say about the load after testing.

Well, as you know I like counting holes....but #7 lead is a bit of a turn off. Confident with lead #7s at 40 yards but if you misjudged much I lose confidence.
Saying that I would still like to see some patterns.

The  ( T B ) turkey loads are an attempt to compete with the market share of Winchesters successful ( L B ) shells. The shooters will ultimately make the decision of whether or not the ( T B ) shells are a good product. If the # 7 shot in the ( T B ) shell will increase pattern performance - size at close range , with the larger shot holding a good dense pattern at mid to long range. The new TB offering would be a great choice. Time on the range will tell.

There is no substitute for hevi-shot or TSS when it comes to kinetic energy.

I don't understand why people skimp over the $15/box difference in a lead load like this vs a box of hevi-shot.

Seems like everyone wants to kill the 50 yard bird these days but more people want to shoot lower quality shot to accomplish it.

I agree with and see what you are saying but to some folks 15 bucks is alot of difference. I know alot of folks that still shoot lead because they can't afford a 35 to 50 dollar box of shells. In Tennessee where I'm from the way license prices are you are lucky to afford to be able to hunt. Prices on licenses , shells, camo and having a place to hunt are ruining hunting for the common man. Pricing us right out so rich doctors and lawyers can hunt. Before long if you don't own land you won't have anywhere decent to hunt, ask a landowner and most all of them say no and leaseing land is ridiculously high once again pricing the common man out. 15 dollars is alot in America nowdays.

I don't feel like I'm skimping on shells. I've killed quite a few with hevi shot, but didn't see the need to continue. Went back to lead about 3 years ago, and had no problem getting it done just like I use to before hevi shot. Dead is dead.

Kind of like building a streetrod.  You tell the engine builder you want lots of power and want to go fast.  They ask you, How much money you got?  Lead is "fast enough" for me.   I do understand it though and respect individual choice.   Its all relative to your own situation.  I'd have a blown Willys coupe too if I could afford it!
