I'm buying one real soon. Which one and why? Be specifically for turkey and doves

Spitten and drummen

Can't speak for the winchester , but I got a m2 last year and absolutely love it. Had it dipped in original bottomland and put a ff3 on it. Loaded up some 3" tss loads along with a sumtoy 562-5 and it is a gobblers nightmare.

I personally haven't found a better 20 ga. turkey gun than the M2.  Big difference in weight between the 2 mentioned.

Is the m2 worth the money or is the affinity a quality gun? I've heard they are practically same gun.

I have owned both.  The SX3 shoots softer, (not that it matters much in a 20)  it cycles faster,  has speed load, and is a bit heavier.  For all around hunting doves, turkey, and ducks I would choose the SX3. Both will pattern well with turkey ammo.

I like the M2 better for strictly turkey hunting.  It is really light for carrying around on long hikes chasing turkeys.  I can't shoot very well with it wingshooting, it is so light that it has a whippy feel.
I have the 24" barrel M2 I found it used for $900.  If I was buying new I would look to the Franchi Affinity and save $$.  I have shot my buddy's Affinity quite a bit and it has very similar feel to the M2 and is a really nice gun.  M2 has a slimmer feel and the recoil spring is in the butt stock, on the Affinity's is located in the forearm.  All these guns will serve ya well.  Try to shoot them all and let one pick you.

I second the Franchi Affinity for the money spent.

I have the SX3.  I wanted the ability to put a red dot on it and mine came drilled and tapped.
My SX3 is the Universal Hunter model and is the softest shooting shotgun I've shot.

Everyone with the M2 loves it, and it is definitely a great feeling shotgun.  If you want a red dot, whether they can be drilled and tapped is debatable.

The Affinity is a good gun, just a bit differently balanced than the M2 I'm told.  As with any shotgun, you should try to handle each and see which one feels right to you.  I would love to own one of each but my budget won't allow it.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

I was going to buy the M2 but when I called Benelli they highly advised me not to have it drilled and tapped due to the receiver being really thin to keep weight down. If it is done there could be  some problems so I decided not to buy one though I really wanted it.
