Wouldn't it be nice to have free demos on choke tubes?

Is there a service out there that allows you to try a lot of different chokes without buying them?  If not it would be a cool idea to have a "choke rental" where you could pick a few chokes to compare, pay a few bucks to try each one and the cost of shipping, like paint samples, before spending the money to buy several to compare. Then you could determine which works best for your gun. I have read over and over on this forum about people spending fortunes on multiple chokes and only recouping half their money back selling the used chokes. Just a thought.

Great idea! Maybe some of the manufactures would get on board with it, sell you a multi pack of chokes and you pay for the one you like and send the rest back.

Exactly. Or possibly have a library of loaners that are all used that you could select a few from and return them all then agree to purchase a new one of the one you like best.   I haven't really thought about how it would work but as a consumer is like the ideas.

A friend that I met thru oldgobbler.com both have Mossberg 12's and Remington 20's. We have mailed chokes back and forth to one another for experimenting. I know I've shot at least 5 or 6 of his chokes and he has used a couple of mine.
