I hate a thief. I hope you catch them Pappy. I had someone try to steal my tractor out of my barn at my farm a few weeks ago but they ran it out of fuel and did not know where the fuel switch was located. I would not shoot someone if I caught them but they probably would wish I had after I got through with them. Someone said it was probably kids but they had to have a Ford tractor key in their pocket to start it. I have cameras out now.

Unfortunately our court system doesn't treat thieves like they did in the old west days. Be a lot less of them if we had kept that tradition. They seem to have more rights these days than the people they have wronged. I hope in the near future they get what they deserve.

Hate to hear that.   It will come full circle at some point.

I had a Five gallon can of gas stolen from my hunt camp a few years ago.  To bad it was 4 1/2 gallons of water and a 1/2 gallon of gas!   I have since changed to mixture to a 1/2 gallon of gas and 4 1/2 gallons of something much more engine unfriendly!
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

Thanks everyone for the supportive replies, just talked to the police and he was amazed at what happened. After a thorough search of my shop they thieves took off with two sets of dremel tool bits around 60 bucks worth...LOL....within reach sat a 50 cal. muzzle loader with redfield scope, two air compressors, antique tackle boxes full of antique lures...and on top of the bits there was a bowie knife which they left after removing it from the bits!!!! So crazy it had to be kids.....we have been racking our minds trying to think why they left everything behind, they must have gotten scared, then my wife says, "wasn't your air compressor plugged in?" Yep, that was it! It must have kicked on while they were in there and it probably scared the be-jeevies out of 'em LOL...now trail cams set up, and motion lights and the guns are loaded ....just hoping they return to the scene of the crime!

A 12 gauge 3 1/2" Magnum fired over their heads may help put them back on the path.  :z-guntootsmiley: :TooFunny:

Sorry to hear that Jack. My truck was broken into about two months ago. Did manage to get the two pistols in there, but the dumbass left three pairs of binos worth over two grand sitting in the seats. One of seven trucks that got hit that night. Told the cop they were lucky I didn't catch them or I might have shot them. Thought I probably shouldn't have said that until he said he would have done the same. Hate a thief.

Put you up a trail cam that does video so that way you will have it all on tape...lol...good hunting...

Dang man, I hate to hear that. I'd be madder than hell too. I hate a thief, but atleast they only hit ya for $60 worth of Dremel attachments. That's bound to hurt a lot less than if they had took something unreplacable like the antique lures.

Sucks either way but could've been a lot worse. I would've loved to seen their face when that air compressor kicked on. I bet they about jumped out of their skin.

I do hate it for you though man. bound to be somebody that knows you like to do wood working and that you have some nice tools.
