Can't wait till April 16th

My son is a Marine who just got back from Afghanistan this weekend. Boy was I glad to see him. He'll be "home" on the 16th & said he can't wait to go turkey hunting when he gets back on his post-deployment leave. I can't wait to hit the woods with him. Said he thought about us turkey hunting while he was over there which made me feel good. People don't realize what these boys/girls go through serving our country. Enjoy your time spent with your children and/or take someone in the military hunting if you get the chance. Seeing those boys reunite with their families & the wounded warriors in their unit was AWESOME! Made me proud to be an American. Now I need to get him a special pot call made. That would be a nice present for his return.

My brother is a Marine...I sure worried for him while he was deployed in Iraq.  He's stationed in Japan now
Good luck to you both with the turkeys.  Folks like your son and my brother really put all this stuff in perspective.
