I was on the way to move to a different farm this morning and a kamikaze suicide turkey takes flight right across the highway and smashed my windshield. There was another gobbler that witnessed my double Saturday morning. I'm thinking he gave up his life for revenge for his buddies. Hate it for him but hate the fact I have to get my windshield replaced more. Not bad spurs either.

That's freaking hilarious.  Lol

The rancher who lets me hunt his property got hit by a turkey coming out of the roost two years ago.... it's why he let me hunt there last year and going forward.

Sorry to hear about the windshield, hopefully your insurance covers it. Nice bird though and at least you get to eat him.

Call 'em close, It's the most fun you'll ever have doing the right thing.

Appreciate it. Yeah had to give insurance company a call this morning and won't have to pay for the new windshield. As far as eating it goes, this turkey turned inside out after I hit him. He was a hot mess. The buzzards are going to feast on him.

Too bad about his condition. On the bright side, sounds like you'll get to keep hunting there.

Next time you practice your calling in the car, roll up the window...
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.
