Very nice.  Good story and we have all felt that same ill feeling. I had 2 birds at less than 80, 2 hours apart on public land. No deal. 

While I realize I am not the best duck caller, redfish fisherman or turkey caller, the one trait I possess is persistence and it often pays off (I eat plenty of all 3).  Gotta go with what we are good at.  Great job!

That's a Mike Yingling copper pot.  That call and a woodhaven mouth call talked to many birds this year.
