fixing a slate call

is there any way to fix a cracked slate i accidentaily stepped on mine. i doubt there is but i figure i would see if anyone had anyway to fix one. thanks

Some call builders will replace the calling surface. Be careful though one in particular here in PA offers repairs but I'm still waiting ten years later.

Yes, can repair a slate call.  You have to finish breaking out the slate and glue in a new piece.   Contact the call maker if you can.  They usually prefer to repair their own rather than have someone else do it.
