Was fortunate enough to get on some birds at a friends hunting club in yee haw junction florida. Birds weren't very active once the heat of the day kicked into effect but this nice bird came in silent around noon.

1 1/4" spurs? That ain't no two year old. Congrats on a nice bird!

Tailwalk

Maybe older, he seemed like a young bird to me.

Even for an Osceola, 1-1/4" should be a 3 year old. Congrats on a fine bird!! :icon_thumright:

Lucky you....there sure is some fine looking, turkey infested  land around Yee Haw. Congrats on a nice bird.
Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
