Second Nice Osceola Down, Finished For The Season

Limited out in Florida this morning, shot my second Osceola; Shot the first Osceola a couple of weeks ago. Both gobblers were nice birds with good beards, spurs, and weight. Had a coyote come in to my left and it saw my hen decoy and sense something was not right and took off. I have found turkey personalities are different day to day. Saturday did not see one or hear one. This morning I had three gobbling at me from different directions; I was sitting in the same place that I hunted Saturday. The one I killed this morning came running to the call, his head was bright red and he put on a show, fanned out several times and strutted. Good morning to be in the woods, finished in Florida. Overall it was a good season. I killed two Osceola's, my daughter Val killed her first turkey (Osceola) and a very large Eastern. Good season.

Congrats I'm hoping to put down #2 Friday if these storms die off   I've got a lot of swampy stuff to walk thru and don't look forward to getting my boots sucked off my feet in the 45 min walk lol
