Me and a buddy left mississippi Tuesday morning and drove to south central Kansas.  Hunting was a little tough but we both managed to get our limit and are now headed to north Nebraska.  Hoping for good luck there but it's already been a great trip.

Pics of my two.  First was just a two year old.  22lbs, 8", 3/4".  Second 18lbs, 9", sharp 1" Spurs.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Forgot to mention for any of you hunting Kansas, the ticks are horrible this year.  Never seen so many ticks.

Congrats!!!  ...and thanks for the warning.  I will give my clothes a second round of Sawyer's before I go.  I'm also bringing several Thermacell refill kits, because the skeeters attacked in clouds last time.  ;)
