I'm sure this has been brought up on other occasions but this is a first for me.  Has anyone ever noticed hawks hammering away at gobblers?  I have read where crows will do this but I have never witnessed it.  I was out hunting the other day and heard a gobbler responding to a hawk.  I began to move on the bird when I realized the hawk was following a pair of gobblers.  The hawk was almost non stop screaming at them, which made it real easy to locate them.  Once I got within 75 yards or so, the hawk must of caught my movement and headed out but the gobblers stayed.   Never seen this in my fifteen or so years of turkey hunting.

Never seen a hawk do it but I have crows on several occasions.  The 1st bird I killed last year I kept tabs on him by the mob of crows harassing them until I could get into position.
