Rob Roberts gets some good love on here as well as the SBE II and the fastfire.  Anyone bit the bullit and got this gun as a whole?  I'm sure there are some here that may have/had done all the necessary parts/pieces to this gun.  Not even sure I could manage a regular one let alone one of these bad boys.  Makes me  though.

I don't have a R. R. version but I pretty much built a similar rig myself.  SBE2 with 26" barrel, deep cleaned the barrel and every part of the gun when I bought it.  Slapped a pistol grip on it and a Burris FF3.  Using a Rhino .660 choke and Nitro #7's HS and it consistently puts 350+ in a 10" circle at 40 yards.  With the Nitro mag blend (5,6,7) I'm getting 325+ consistently as well...oh and it is in MO Bottomland camo  :you_rock:

i didn't buy the whole package together but i did piece mine together and had rob basically do all the same work to it.

i had more fun doing it piece by piece.  Makes me feel like i was a part of each upgrade (silly but made it fun really)

it is a shooter now though!!!  with a RR 655 it will flat out shoot!

I'm like reynolds243 I didn't buy the performance shop gun but I've had mine worked on by RR.  So far I've had the forcing cone lengthened and the barrel ported and I'm using his .660 for turkeys and T2 for everything else.  I will eventually get the slammer button...  Excellent shooting guns!

Kind of figured that would be the case for most.  I get the wanting to do some stuff
Yourself too, gives you a good idea what each part did.

Smooth, that sbe is smooth.  Go bottomland!

All I have left to do on mine is the trigger which I plan to do this year. All the other stuff he already did

Prob gonna get this bolt handle instead though

reynolds243

Yeah they work fine with them

That bolt handle looks neat! I might get the forcing cone and trigger done on my Vinci down the road by RR. I have another gun with the forcing cone done and I like how it took some of the "snap" of recoil out. I would just be afraid of messing up my patterns though, it shoots really well as is!
