Seriously, wrap or no wrap?

I am looking to get some of that wrap that you can put around your gun and won't leave a residue when you take it off. Any experience with this stuff? Fairly mixed reviews online.

I wrapped one gun and it took alot of elbow grease to get it completely cleaned up.  This was the old cloth tape by Mossy Oak.  Cant speak about the new stuff.

Do not use cloth tape! It will let moisture through and rust. Happened to me. I buy the hs strut no mar brand vinyl and put it on a couple of my guns each spring and take it off as soon as season is over. $6 a roll at wal mart and don't have to worry about rust. This mossy oak looks great but I would not trust it enough from a rusting standpoint to leave on my gun for an extended period.

X2 on the Mossy Oak graphic. Just did my 500, it looks awesome!!!

Get this stuff.  http://www.mossyoakgraphics.com/gun-kits/shotgun-mossy-oak-camo-gun-kit.html

I haven't anyone who has not liked it yet.

Well now you know someone because I absolutely hate it. It does clean off nice but I will never use it again.

What did you dislike about it? Is it rust preventative under the skin?

X2! I am glad I used it. I even used the truck kit. When I got tired of it I peeled it off and had no issues.

I've used it on two guns. It does look good holds up well and comes off cleanly as advertised. You will need a hairdryer exacto knife and lots of patience to install it. A couple hours will do it if you take your time.
