Has anyone shot heavy13 in #4 shot in there 20 gauge and got good consistent patterns? The shotgun I was shooting shot the heavy13 #5's just as good as the federal heavyweights #7's. Just curious if anybody had good results with the 4 or 5's

most of the guys on here consider #4 hevishot an overkill on turkeys with not enough pellets in the load for very good numbers
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

The only reason i asked the question is that every gun has a shell or choke they like best. Mine shoots the heavyweight 7's great, but if it patterns the 4's or 5's better or more consistent, bring them on, good huntn guys

Great coyote or goose load, but not enough pellets to fill out the pattern for turkeys. If a 20 ga gun won't shoot the HW7s good enough, you just haven't found the right choke tube yet. Be nice if they made that load in 8s, the 7s have energy to burn.

I agree with Surehuntsalot. I found the tight chokes like smaller HTL shot and that's the way to go. :turkey2:
