Picked up a new stock today. Hopefully it will help with wrist fatigue while they are closing the distance and maybe cut back on some recoil too.
I may add a little paint so it doesn't stick out from the rest of my gun so bad.

I did the exact same thing to one of my 835's last week..... looks great and I agree with it fighting the fatigue factor. However, when I pulled it to my shoulder, I found that my line of sight was considerably higher than before and I could not sight along the barrel without tilting my head sideways.  After considerable thought, I mounted a 1.5-4.5 X scope to the gun... problem solved.  Now, I have to head for the range to ensure where it will shoot.

Very good info Russ I picked up a gobble stopper red dot to put on it so hopefully I won't have any issues with line of site. Can't wait for a chance to put them on and pattern it.

Just got back from the range....  Had used a laserlyte laser bore sighter to align the scope with the barrel.... sighted it at 25 yds. At the range, I completely obliterated a 10 inch circle at 25 and covered the same with a nice dense pattern at 50 yds.  So...if I keep the range to 40 yds or less... and I don't get tooo excited... I should have a dead bird after the shot...LOL.  As it turned out, I am very pleased with the setup, and just can't wait for the opener.
Best of luck with your setup.... and good hunting.

Sounds like you got a killer! Good luck this spring

Thanks Eric,

This gun has harvested 90% of the birds that I have been fortunate enough to bring home.  I just wanted to put the pistol grip and adjustable stock on it for ease of handling.  The scope became a necessity...but think I am going to be happy with the finished product. Especially when I get out in the wide open parts of Oklahoma.

:OGturkeyhead: Confidence in your equipment and being comfortable are 2 parts to the equation. Now you just need to get on a gobbler and get your heart pumping. Good luck

I bought it at our local Dunhams Sports store. It was $84.00 with tax. I have saw some in camo but they seem
To be more expensive. Midway has some and I was going to get one there I just happened to get off work early that day and I went over there to kill a few minutes and stumbled on this one.
