I asked about the 20 game load at the convention.. if/when its coming.  One beat around the bush a little with a few "maybes" and one just flat said no.  It ain't looking good for them.  I also asked if they had any intentions of making a small shot to compete with the fed he 7 and got more beating around the bush and the price of tungsten is too high.  I specifically asked about making the extended range in a small shot in a long bears type load for 12 and 20...was told the long beards will penetrate pretty much the same due to the density of the er being 12 and lead being right behind it.

Just what I was told....I tried

There is another post in the turkey guns section that said he was told the 20 gauge would be in 2 years.

I would not be surprised if they string the 20 gauge clan along for years with this. The ammunition manufacturers still seem to look at the yellow shells as the ugly girls at the dance.   :z-flirtysmile3:

they are just missing out..and I told them that.  the fed hw 7 is the only shell to have in the 20..unless you handload.  I shoot tss so I don't really care, but I like other options for "just in case".  most of the time, the chokes that shoot tss well also shoot the fed hw decent as well too, so I have a few boxes on hand in case I decide to swap up.  I would just like to see Winchester enter the 20 ga market

Yep there missing out on some $$$. I guess I will keep giving my $ to federal.

I would like some longbeards to try in my New England 20ga. But it may not happen.

My guess.  Seeing as how their 12 ga. loads are smaller in payload than other brands.  Their 20 ga. load probaly would be as well.  It wouldn't be able to compete with the Fed. HW that is dominating the 20 ga. market.
