I know lots of guys like the DSD and other high dollar dekes but I just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money. The snoods look pretty good to me, but I've seen some that's been on display at different sporting good stores and they look kinda beat up from being handled, mostly paint flaking off.  How do they hold up in use in the turkey woods?

Interested in this as well, been eyeing those. As far as a collapsable they look good and very detailed, especially for one you can find under 50.00( if you search the web)

If it's HS. . . .  it's most likely junk. I'm sorry. . . . it IS junk. Coming from the guys that gave you the squealing hen and the acorn cruncher.  :TooFunny:

Can't speak for the new HS Snood decoys.  I have some Deltas (sold by HS Strut) that are 17 years old that work great. I paid about $25 each for them. They have held up nicely, even after some savage attacks by pi$$ed off gobblers. I hate they quit making them, because they're sturdy & can be folded up to fit in a game vest. Their original paint job was less than ideal, but it wasn't anything I couldn't fix for a few dollars with some sharpies & acrylic paint from the art supply store. They cost a fraction of what these modern decoys do, yet they draw turkeys as good as any of 'em.

The fact that gobblers can be drawn to a gun by a fan only says that decoys don't need to be ultra realistic.  Some of those decoy manufacturers are out turn plastic into gold & they're succeeding.
