Great deal! I have a nova and like it. They have a chrome lined barrel, don't polish it. Rem doesn't have chrome but can be polished.

Novas are not chrome lined and can be polished with impressive results.

I didn't think any Benelli barrel was chrome lined?  I do think most, if not all, are cryo'd though.

They didnt start crio treating until they released the first sbe 2s.

Thanks guys I doubt she will be a turkey killer anytime soon.  It will probably be a safe queen for a while.  Only bought it because it was a steal.  I'd like to trade for 20ga.

I bought one about 7 years ago.  I bought the Benelli recoil reducer that goes in the butt of the gun.  I had the trigger worked on by my gunsmith.  Nice and crisp now.  I put Tru-glo sights on it and ended up with a Jellyhead choke...(don't remember the size).  It's a little heavier than my 870, I use it as my "field" gun for maybe out to 40-45 yards.  With Heavyweight 3x2x7 ammo...I get upwards of 240 to 250 pellets in 10" circle at 40 yards.  Nice gun....
