Question on FF3 on an 870
December 27, 2014, 09:07:01 PM
I'm about to order a Fastfire 3 for my 870 I've been transforming into my turkey gun. My question is concerning themmounting. I'll have the gun drilled and tapped for a 336 mount so do I need ro order the sight with no mount? Excuse my ignorance on this, just don't want to go through the trouble of ordering the wrong thing. Any other suggestions on mounting will be appreciated if I'm going about this wrong. Thanks for the help.

Look on ebay to find the cheapest priced FFIII. Lowest I've seen recently is $210 delivered. You don't need the Picatinny mount that often comes bundled with the FFIII. Buy the lowest priced one with or without mount included. Pay attention to shipping costs. One is listed without mount for $199 but with $39 "standard" shipping costs. Most at the rounded off $210 are sold with free shipping. Gil
