Last night I was digging through my hunting closet looking for my light breathable pants/shirt to wear tomorrow for our dove shoot.  I couldn't find them at first, but finally found them buried in the back of the closet.

Apparently when I took them off after the last morning of turkey season, I threw them in there and completely forgot to dig them out and wash them.

They still smell like bug spray.

I closed my eyes and, for a moment, I was back in the turkey woods sitting against a tree.  It's the little things in life....

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

When you mentioned doves, I thought about the time I "lost" a dove in my vest.  At least I got to buy a new vest, because no amount of baking soda could ever take that smell away.

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
