I purchased a new in box 1300 today with a green wood laminated stock and forearm. i want to replace it with a synthetic stock and forearm. the reason is i need to cut 1" of stock for gun to fit me with short arms. I don't want to cut the wood stock. i don't see any problem with stock but not sure about forearm. will this be a even swap.

I put an ATI Akita adjustable hunting stock on mine. It adjusts from 12 3/8" out to 14 3/8", has a great recoil pad and the set includes a matching forearm. I like it because it looks like a traditional hunting stock but adjusts to fit most people or when you hunt with lots of clothing or just a "T" shirt.

You can also keep that factory stock and reinstall it if you ever want to trade that gun.

Thanks,
Clark

thanks. I can purchase a new Win. replacement syn. stock and forearm online. I cut off 1 in of stock and gun fits me. plus makes gun lighter than with wood stock.
