I am wanting to take my son on a Kansas turkey hunt next spring for his High School graduation present. Can anyone help me out with a good outfitter? Thanks!

Ed, I don't know of any outfitters, but my wife & I have been hunting in Kansas for the last ten years & we went up there in Feb or March & drove around & ask people if we could Turkey hunt when the season opened & have failed to gain permission only one time. We still go back to the same places & have become friends with the land owners. Most of the land owners don't even Turkey hunt, it seems like the Turkeys are a nuisance to them. Crawdad

X2! on both comments. We go up in mid May and even though everything has been hunted we still get on plenty of birds.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
