This is the 1st trumpet that I've made using this style and it is the first trumpet that I've offered for sale publicly. It is made from Sapele, delrin mouth piece and a .308 shell casing. The lanyard also has a .308 shell casing as a transition from the leather to the twine. This call sounds amazing!

Auction begins at 9pm est 17 Nov. 2014.

not knocking your call in any way at all,i like the looks of it.   but your cadence if not right, JUST my 2 cents. record your calling and listen to it back. best way to set your cadence. If your new to making yelpers get someone that is very good on them to run them and it will help you more then you know.give a few away may sound crazy but i have giving new calls away ever time i make one for feed back on them.

Chris not knocking your trumpet or anything just was wondering why you see fit to ask 125.00 for it ????
It a nice trumpet, but there is no mouth stop on it, has a delrin mouth piece. Usually when they are that high they usually have a Horn or Ivory mouthpiece. And as you said it only your 3rd trumpet you have made?? Just thought I would ask........Mikey  :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an

Good question Mike. I set the price at $125 due to the collectability of the call. I will not be asking as much for other calls that I list after that one. I'm not a big fan of the lip stop... I don't use them on my personal trumpets and I wanted this call to be set-up to represent me. The calls that I make to sell in the future will have lip stops. I will also start using higher quality materials as you mentioned sometime in the future. As for being the 3rd trumpet that I've finished (operative word being finished) and the first of it's design is what makes it collectable. It's a pretty fine trumpet for number 3.

You got about as much chance selling a trumpet with no lip stop as a camel does fitting threw a eye of a needle.  :TooFunny: :TooFunny:
