2014 may never be topped by me my OG friends... I love hunting turkeys, tinkering with the chokes and loads, shooting the guns to get ready, but I don't often (never before) get to travel to hunt them. This year I did get to the east coast for a quick trip with a great friend who had done a good bit of research and scouting before I arrived.  Before I even left I had already had a blast and tagged out in MO with a nice bird opening day 23.5lb 3/4" and the 2nd MO bird 20lb 1 1/16" being the first turkey hunt my daughter and I ever had together...our results out East were also great, 2 gobblers for me 17lb 1 1/8" and 17.5lb 3/4 and a nice jake for my friend...3 out of 4 tags filled in only two days...I wish you all could have the experience...having that much fun in a turkey season, shouldn't be allowed!!!!  :blob10: :blob10: :blob10: :you_rock: :you_rock: :you_rock:
shoot first, measure spurs later

I love golf.  It keeps a lot of people out of the turkey woods.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
