Well we made it back today (Sat) bout noon ,and it was a Great trip full of ups and downs ,Highs and Lows
thats why I referenced the roller coaster .
We started a two state hunt on Monday the 21st . Three of us pulled out toward South Dakota and after a couple days travel we all
tagged out in a day and a half ,6 birds down mine were 25.5 and 22.? lbs. and it was so windy I didnt think we could kill anything butwe did .
Well since we had a 4th hunter comming to meet us in Kansas we had a total of three days to kill and we spent them seeing some AWESOME
sights of our great country .
One of my buddies found a new friend in Neb. He said "She dont talk much ,but shes a good listener an boy can she cook ".
We went on to Kansas 2 days behind a Tornado (I didnt take any pictures of the destruction as a retired lineman out of respect )
and please pray for the people effected ,especially from Baxter KS.
We hooked up with our 4th hunting buddy and it got tuff . Birds were not talking and henned up . but in three days of hunting
we managed a total of 6 birds ,mine weighing 22.0 even but carrying TWO beards 11 3/8" and 8" + the weight of a jake that I took by accident,
Thats another story !!
Sorry its so long and for all the pictures .
Now Ohio for a few days the to WV and I will finish in NY.
