One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

LOL  Hard to explain that feeling to someone that does not turkey hunt.  I make that face a lot harder at about 10:00am when I have not heard a peep all morning.

That's also the same face we made with all those "turkey bushes" in the KS fields! 

This time of year every bush, stump, and cattle feeder looks like a turkey for a split second . . .

Exactly!  I had that happen last year.  Hadn't heard squat all morning and dozed off.  Woke up to a tom hammering in the distance and had him over my shoulder about five minutes later.
