Opening a can of worms for sure. Iv been thru a bunch of them and my favorite is a reconyx but I got a great deal on it. I wouldn't have it otherwise. With most other cameras I have now and have had in the past, it seems like luck of the draw. I have had good luck with Cuddeback capture flash cameras and also with Cuddeback attack IR cams. Not a fan of their customer support tho. Just get your cams at a place with a good return policy. Some cheap cams will take great pics but it may take a few tries to find the right one.

We've had good luck with Moultrie. Another site I frequent has a big following of people for the Covert cameras. We bought 2 WildGame Innovations cameras when we first started and they were both junk, took nothing but white pictures. I know some people like them but I have stayed away from them ever since.

coverts, reconyx , and some of the models of moultries are the only ones I would spend the money on. none of the others are worth anything imo.

I have two Bushnell Trophy Cams (HD and HD Max) and my son has a Moultrie M-100. All three work fine for us.
First one I ever had was a Stealth Cam and I was never happy with it. That was 5 or 6 years ago, so they could be better now.
I like this site for comparing different cameras...
http://www.trailcampro.com/
The site tests a lot of cameras and posts their results and their prices are competitive as far as I can tell. (I have no connection to the site other than having bought a couple of cameras and security boxes there)
I love golf. It keeps a lot of people out of the turkey woods.

Covert and moultrie for me. Have had zero issues with either brand.

I have a reconyx RC60 and a RC60HO they have never gave me any problem and they have spent most of their life in the woods. I know it hurts to spend $500 + on a camera, it did me, but I think their worth it.

Went through 3 Wildgame cameras with problems, now have a Moultrie M-880 used one season and so far am pleased with it.Check out Camlockbox.com.He sells most brands,He makes the security boxes for them and has a lot of accessories for them.He has very good prices and sends E-mails when he is running sales on camera's and other products.

Like I said, it's a gamble. One person is happy with one type of cam and the next is not. Reviews can help but they can also be biased. Some cameras work great and the next identical cam you buy will be junk. Just gotta try em and find out.
