I'm fairly pleased with this although some might feel differently but I put 95 in a 10" with my jelly head .690 22" barrel on my 935 this was with a turkey thugs 3-1/2" #6 2oz. I might have found a better spot on the paper to get more pellets in 10" but I measured it by where my pattern was of poi from poa. The circle bottom left had 74. So as far as last year goes I missed what I'm nearly positive was the same gobbler each time I shot last year 3 times before I killed it and I thought I was missing at 50 well I bought a range finder and went and measured it today and it was 39, 41, 42. So not only did I under judge distance but my pattern last year was terrible it had to be. I didn't take near enough time or research like I did this year. Doing my best to get better and use better equipment this year.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

X 2   Its a good feeling looking down the barrel knowing your combo has been tested on the range rather than just hoping it'll work

Yep they are right. It's worth some bruised shoulder and some money to make sure your setup will do what you want and not what you hope.

Find another shell that patterns tighter, the longbeards or htl load of 7 shot will improve the pattern, and got with lead 5 shot if shooting lead, lead 6's are asking for trouble past 40 yards.
Hunt every day as if it were your last.

I have some long beards on the way they will be here before season I got them in the #5 3-1/2" I just couldn't wait for them to get here to start some patterning. I sighted in with some Remington nitro #5 and whew boy at 20 and in ain't nothing gonna get away! I am anxious to see what the long beards do. That pattern isn't the greatest at 40 but I would be confident with those turkey thugs at 40 and in.

I would tighten your choke up and shoot long beards.  I think it would do wonders for your pattern.
