I remember when my daughter signed to play at a school aobut 12 miles from our house,   she played 2 years then decided that (like her old man)  her talent had not kept up with desire,  but more important her sholder was not getting well , and even more important she wanted to focus on the books.   now she is in her 6th year of a 7 year a phd in Pharmacy program  she is also married to a former ole miss football player ( 6ft 6in about 330 )( you ought to see him eat) .  heck I am gettting misty as I type this remembering back to all those travel teams ,  all the bad calls the umps made , and all those girls I got to know and care about so much.  ( I think I have preformed aobut 10 of there weddings ,  some of them still stay in touch.)   I was always the loudest in the bleachers and people often remind me of that especially when I umpire high school girls softball.

I didnt love it as much as my wife though,  she would rather go to a ballgame than eat when shes hungry,  she would load that ford expendition up with youngens and ball eqipment and run all across the southeast.    having the time of her life.   man we miss it.

Congrats in the highest order you your daughter!!!!!!!!!!   :z-winnersmiley:    its all right if you do brag

keep us posted my wife and I might come watch her play.   What does she play ?  Pitch?  or postion player ?    I am glad I read your post even if a tear is running down my check.

Thanks Preacher, she is the prettiest little catcher you ever saw. BTW, she has a cannon for an arm from which I'm pretty sure she inherited from her dad. LOL  Here is another pic.
