 :-[ :wagon:looking for a good choke for a win. 1300

I used a comp n choke. 655 and winchester extended range 3" 6's but since they dont make those shells any more i went with the hevi shot choke and hevi 3" #6's. I have a ton of the hevi, Id like to try the comp n choke and the new longbeards. I also tried the tru glo ssx but got really tight patterns. Check out the petterning section theres alot of info there.

I have a Jellyhead .660 on the end of my 1300.  Shot 3" Hevi #7.  Before Hevi I was shooting Winchester Supreme #5 through a Hastings .660 with a good pattern.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409

I have shot many different chokes ( maybe 20) through my 3 different win 1300. If you have any type of adjustable sight IC throws a great pattern however I have found that there POI is always slightly off. That is the reason for the sight adjustment. Give it a try you will not be disapointed.

Ok choke guru, what choke do you like with the longbeards 5's or 6's? My stash of hevi 7's is getting low and with the patterns I'm seeing out of those shells, probably be making a switch. Thanks

A guy posted on TNDeer that he put 263 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yds thru his Win 1300 shooting the Winchester Long Beards #5 thru a Primos Tightwad .660 choke.  Not bad for a $20-$25 choke. :z-winnersmiley:

Cabelas only has them in #4.  And they may be on Winchester's website, but they have dropped production on them due to the cost of tungsten. :OGturkeyhead:

Last week i spoke with a sales rep at winchester. The High density XR is done... They dropped the line do to high Tungsten prices. Lee
