I came across this this morning. I know they are expensive so when I saw you can get $10 off a box, I thought I'd share. Sorry if this was already posted.

Thanks for sharing!  It's always nice to catch a break.

Thanks for the info guys.  I think most of the guys that have been on this site for awhile, have stock piled the Hevi's when pellet counts were high.  From what most of us are hearing, Hevi has changed wads AGAIN and the shells they are putting out this year aren't living up to what they have in the past.  The new Winchester Longbeard XR's seem to be the ticket this year.  The pellet counts have been higher than the new Hevi's and the price is about half the cost.  Most of the guys are buying a few boxes and waiting for the weather to break to see what their particular gun will do with the Longbeards.  A few more months will let us all see what the LB's will be capable of.  Thanks again and Good Luck this spring.

Winchester Longbeard are the real deal. My M1 will put 140 shot in a 10inch circle OR more every time at 40 yards. That is a 3 inch no 6 shell. Compared the Hevi-13 I have shot the last 3 or 4 years and Longbeard with the lower price is the way to go. I bought 10 boxes so I will never be short again!
With that being said, the Hevi-13 can be heard hitting the board at 40 yards,,so I would say the Hevi-13 will hit harder,,but I belive the Winchester will hit plenty hard enough.
Did notice that the Winchester in all 4 guns we shot last Friday, shot about 6 to 8 inches lower then the Hevi-13..
BRING ON FLA!!

After you send in the rebate, be sure to keep a copy of your receipt, as I had to call them after the rebate never showed up after a few months. Had to email it to them the 2nd time, which was a bit easier. They paid it, but it took a good long while.
I am going to bag my first Turkey this spring if it is the last thing I do!
