I want to see some "real world" patterns.

That won't happen from most choke manufacturers. There are only a few that will literally show you what their chokes do and are actually honest about it, William being one of them.

I know William WELL...  I use his chokes exclusively  :icon_thumright:

I'm going to have him make me my first SumToy here shortly. Just hard to get a hold of that fella sometimes.

I don't buy it that those are 40 yard shots. Not with those Rem nitros. They are virtually the worst turkey shell ever made.
Look at the lack of a 20" pattern. There is virtually nothing outside of the 10" circle. To me, it looks like a 20 yard shot.

Believe it or not....I've shot those Rem nitros (3" #5's) at 35 yards and they looked GREAT!!!! .....but they fall apart at 40 yards.

Think Low 70's at 40 Yards.

Why would he put that on there surely knowing that anyone with a brain in their head could tell that pattern is complete and utter bs.

Because most people don't know, because they put a pie plate up at 50 yards, shoot one shell and end up with six pellets in it and brag about their 50 yd pattern. Surely one of those will hit the bird.

True. Let me rephrase that. Anyone one who knows what an actual 40 yard pattern with those shells looks like knows that those patterns are bs. But knowing my luck, those really are real pics, and those chokes will put 400 Hevi 7's in a 10 inch circle at 40 yards.
He shouldn't ought done'nat........ He dead.

I went to several sites last night to see what others were saying about their clay shooting chokes and such.
They make such a huge deal of their knife ports and some were curious as to what happens when the knife blades dull. Plenty of questions and comments about shavings clogging ports, flying into air(face and eyes). And there is one post I saw of a junior shooter who had several trophy's behind him to indicate that it was from use of Black Bore Chokes.
The mfgr. also seemed to praise this choke for keeping the wad from "running into the shot column" that was dispelled as impossible by some of those posting. The one other statement made on their site was that turkey hunters used larger shot in smaller constricted chokes so I am not sure that the statement was presented as intended.
I'm personally not going to get all choked up over this one way or another . All chokes are in increments of 10 hundredths from 680-640 , no 665, 662, 675, etc. Time and testing will tell.
