I've had a m2000 for years and it seems to be a good gun. What do y'all think between these three is the best buy? Customer service? Readily available parts etc?

For me it would be the Mossberg 930. I've been shooting one for several years now and it's as reliable as any gun I've ever shot over time, including many that are much more expensive. Mine also patterns unbelievably well.

Jerry Miculek has been shooting one for some time as well and he says it's as quick as any gun he's ever shot and ultra reliable. I published a "Conversation" with him almost 2 years ago, just after he switched from the M2 to 930 and he's been shooting one since.

I've found Mossberg CS to also be excellent.

That would be my choice.

Thanks,
Clark

Thanks Clark. I need to find one to hold. I want a 24" barrel in either gun I get.

I understand new 930s may be a bit hard to find. The demand has really increased now that people have found out what a real bargain that gun is. I've been told that sales of that model have doubled in the last 12 months.

Thanks,
Clark

I'm with Clark on this one.  Nothing against Stoeger but my experience with Mossberg has been nothing but great.  I currently have 6 mossbergs and have had zero problems from any of them.  Unfortunately, I don't have a 930.  I have been looking for one since around Thanksgiving last year and haven't been able to find one other than the SPX versions.  Was really hoping to buy one to try out on ducks this year.  The 930 has had stellar reviews from what I've seen. :anim_25:

I bought a 930 about a year ago and love it. I haven't had any issues with the gun, but I have heard Mossberg's customer service is great. I had surgery in September and let a friend borrow it and he loved it. It has a excellent trigger and recoil pad that you don't see on more expensive shotguns.  I think that it is the best bargain shotgun on the market. I can't speak for the Stoeger's. For the money, the 930 is hard to beat. Good luck.
