Federal Turkey Thugs

Anybody heard if Federal plans on re-introducing the Turkey Thug shot shell for 2014?  I was able to get my hands on a couple of boxes of the 3 1/2 6's last year and they shot really well in my 835 with 670 Pure Gold.  Hope they do, I'd like to pick up a few more boxes.

Yea I hope so. Ive got 7 or 8 boxes of hevi 7s left and if I ever shoot it all it'll be turkey thugs or the new winchester stuff.

Try the Federal Strut Shok in the blue box. If im not mistaken they're the same shell in a different box.

This came from Gold Hunter, this is a pretty big difference between the two..

guys i had a bud get some of this ammo and he came over 2nite and we cut the tops off and......TURKEY THUGS : 3" : powder 49.2 : buffer 17.0 : 1 7/8 #6's lead shot 1.894.oz : fps 1210 THE BLUE BOX : 3" : powder 36.5 : buffer (very little) : 1 7/8 #6's lead shot 1.880 : fps 1210both had same wad cup but the blue box shells had a higher Gas Seal , hull and primers same. powder looked the same. we will shoot them in a few weeks.

I also really hope they sell the Thugs again this year.  A good solid and affordable load.

Awesome shooting lead shell, had all my youth hunters run them to save on my stock of hevi

For a lead load I thought they shot very well in my 835 and 870
