Congrats on a nice buck! Great read as always!

Woodsman4God

I got busted yesterday 15 fett in the air with the wind in my favor and I never moved, how you take them from the ground I have no clue , Awesome Buck Wess wish I could learn something from you about getting it done like that

flintlock

I get busted WAY more than I don't even when conditions allow for a "chance" to try it.  Scent management, wind direction, cover to hide, approach, lighter hunting pressure, and a ton of other variables all play into it with a big dose of luck spread on top.  :)

Good luck!!

you need to come out here to Arizona and try your stalking and archery abilities on our elk.

Thanks again guys!!

Slamman - I shoot an old Martin Cougar 2000.    Elk:  I only got to go once out west some 8-10 years ago in Colorado and arrowed a cow while still hunting 3 miles from camp on the 2nd day.  It was great and getting the meat out by pack frame cured me of EVER complaining about getting a deer out again!  Some day I sure hope to get back out and try for a bull!

Good luck!
