Hello, i actually mistakenly posted a question about this gun in the classifieds section of this site once again i apologise (newbie mistake!) but va turkey was generous enough to help me out. I have one more question maybe he or some one else could answer for me, as in my other post i just got an old school 11-87 in bottomland camo the gun is in nice shape but apon cleaning it i noticed some marks on the rear of the reciever just above where the link goes into the action spring tube it apears the bolt has made contact here at some point of time apon fireing i also pulled the action spring and found it is barely 14 inches as a new one i believe is closer to 15 inches could this spring being worn out be the cause of this, i have ordered a new spring and bolt buffer will this get me going? Also my new question is- there is a recess cut into the reciever in the rear by where the marking has occured is this just a relief cut so the fireing pin doesnt make any contact or should there be something there? Once again thanks for your time.

I have moved this topic to the proper category- Turkey guns. I apologise once again for the newbie mistake!
