Hey everyone. Finally got my tail fan/beard mounted. This was "King of the Hill" 22 lb, 10 1/2" beard, 1" spurred Boss Tom I shot April 26, 2013. As you can tell, it's abit rough but better then it was. I took some advices from here and it does look alot better. Still might move it onto another wall.
Btw, I still got the feet and spurs. Anyway how to mount them onto this mount?

Thanks.
Btw, is there a way to mount the feet to this? I mean, do I use hot glue or would that be not enough to hold them?

Congrats on your first bird! The mount looks good to me.
This is how I do spurs on the same plaque. Just hot glue the leather to the back. You could hot glue the feet to the face of the plaque. Once hot glue dries it holds pretty darn good.

coyote, that looks good. Btw, I will have to try the hot glue on the feet and see if they hold.

Be sure you have a hi-temp gun and let it get really hot and it should hold good.
