Got a GREAT deal on a Beretta O/U!!

Found this O/U here in town from a guy that never used it. Shot less than a box of shells through it and put it in the safe and never used it. Said he might as well sell it. He paid $2200 + tax plus he bought a nice $150 hard case for it. Sold it to me with 5 chokes, gun, choke tool, and case for $900! Has a little smudge on it that he thought was part of the polyurethane, come to find out after a little rem-oil and cleaning, it was just dirt! She looks BRAND NEW after a good cleaning. The Beretta 68X platform is a well balanced, good shooting gun, IMO.  I looked at buying a white Onyx in 2005 on a close-out for $1,250, which was a good deal back then.  Due to the decline of the dollar, Euro guns have gotten very expensive over the last 10 years.  If the dollar gets as strong again (it won't), they are not going to roll prices back because they've trained the market and will harvest the profits. 

$900 is a good deal for  you, but stupidity for the other guy.  He may have looked at what he paid back when and discounted it.  I have Berettas and Rizzinis that will sell for more now than when I bought them.
