El Pavo Grande

Congrats!!!  It's a shame that someone would stoop that low.

That stinks Joe. I agree with contacting the land owner. He might know who that weasel is and take care of the problem. Retaliation is the first thing that comes to mind but could worsen the problem. Hopefully the end result will be in your favor. Also congrats to your son on his bird.

Man that sux. I agree with contacting the land owner but...I'm a vindictive son of a gun when it comes to my family or my property. That fella would better hope karma got ahold of him before I did. And I'm a peace lovin kinda guy ;D

Congrats on your son's gobbler too!

I would calmly call the land owner and inform him of what took place. I let a land owner know once that his neighbor was vandalizing my stands and stole a trail cam. I honestly told him that I enjoyed hunting his place but wouldn't be back if my stuff wasn't staff. he was 50X madder than me about it and gave that guy a serious talk.

This whole unsavory scenario makes me wonder what each of us would do if we happened upon somebody doing something like this?  It would sure make a person want to take matters in to their own hands, but I suppose taking it to the authorities would be the prudent thing to do.

Unfortunately, with those types, they would probably get a slap on the hand,....but then you would have to be looking over your back for them all the time after that.  It's just too bad there are people like that in this world,....and that we can't just take care of the problem ourselves.

Either way, that sucks, Joe!

Hey he has 4 tires on the ground and a spare.  I would just loosen all 4 valve cores, (no property damage/legality) and let him walk.  Or you could drain the oil....

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Haters gonna hate.  I wouldn't dare stoop to their level, karma on the other hand is a son of gun....

Joe:   A very polite call to the land owner with a nice description of the vehicle that was there when the incident happened might do the trick...and hopefully it wasn't one of the landowners relatives!
