I have had good luck with the Primos sonic domes for the last few years, but I am looking to upgrade.  Maybe get a little more out of them, thinking woodhaven maybe?  What are the "better" made diaphragm calls out there?  Thanks for the help.

I love woodhaven calls. I've got a ghost cut w/ a grey top reed that's my favorite

I'm not that great with anything more than a two Reed call, but I can run the woodhaven grey ghost. I live close to Martin bros "gobblers choice" and really like there calls.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

My experience up until this year was limited to production calls like Hunter Specialties and Primos.  I tried Hooks calls this year and they are incredible.  I'd definitely consider Hook's Executioner II, Devastator and Seducer.  They are reasonably priced, easy to run and give a nice raspy sound.  My go to mouth calls this year will be the Executioner II and the Devastator.

I'm sure the other ones mentioned earlier are good but I haven't tried them.

My 2 favorites are Hooks and Woodhaven. For a brand that can be bought anywhere, Woodhaven is hard to beat for consistency.
