I have found a local store with a stockpile of the green hulled remington hevi shot. They have 12 gauges in 3" and 3.5" in 4,5, and 6 shot. Do you feel like these would be worth stocking up on or at least buying some of? Thanks.

I wish that store was near here. I've got a buddy that would buy every box he could get in 4's..hardheaded rascal thinks he needs that size and for some reason he loves everything Remington.

I have 6 boxes of the 1 5/8 oz 5's and 6's held back. I have a short barreled 870 12 gauge that love them. They have been good to me, I killed a lot of turkeys with those shells. Several of them a lot farther than I can mention here!

I was figuring that I should buy them but I figured I would ask the members here cause I knew that you all would know or have experience with them. Thanks for the info.

Lucky Clucker

Buy them all, they were the best loads I shot until the 7's came out.
Hunt every day as if it were your last.

I went back and bought all the 6s and some 5s for the 12 and all the 20 gauges so I should be good for a while.

Good call, I've got a box of 3"and 3.5" in 6's, but thats all I've got left. The 3.5" will do 180 in my Browning Gold with an SSX. Best shell Remington ever made IMO, I wish I could find some of those 20 ga shells.

Personally that was the only box of the 7.5 hevi shot 20 gauge that I have seen around my area.
