RSF,lead only?

A buddy just bought a 870 and I was going to loan him a rsf choke but it says "lead only".I remember this being discussed but cant locate it using search feature.Can extended range Wins,Federal Heavyweights,etc be shot through this choke.I do realize it says lead only but.......?

Yes.  The modern shells and wad will protect the choke.  It is meant more for people shooting large steel and such.  AS with any choke, check periodically for anything that looks fishy.

Thanks,kinda what I remembered just wanted to be safe.If I remember correctly that choke killed alot of turkeys before I started reading info on the internet.LOL!
