I hit the wood jack pot

My Dad used to be a custom knife maker and he had a thing for finding the most beautiful wood. For the last few years Ive been pestering him to find it all and bring some to me. He came to town today bearing gifts. He had a block of old growth lignum vitae, a block of coco, some bubinga, but the jewel was a BOARD of rosewood. It wasnt just any rosewood....has tons of birds eyes in it. I sprayed it and the coco with a light mist of poly. Here she is. I cant wait to have some calls made out of it. He bought some of this wood back in the early 80s.

Yes but all I had was my phone to take pics with and I got it wet and the camera dosnt take good pics now, so it didnt do them justice.. No doubt they are good looking you will be proud of them.. I picked up 2 tumpets a Black and white ebony, a Gabon ebony, and a Alaskan yellow cedar box with a maple lid..

Ricky, Pop says it gonna cost us one of your pot calls. I told him youd make him a double sider but he saw that copper with the medalion in the bottom. Thats waht he wants. A one sider ceramic with the medallion.

Ill make a trip up there and we can cut you a few blanks.
