It is part of the disease of being a turkeyholic....

Gut Pile

This betwix and between time, with deer season over in Ohio and Turkey Season 2 months away, is making me nuts.  It seems like the only way to somewhat pacify my need to be out there hunting is to hunt for gear on line, and research gear on line, and then buy gear on line......  :fud:
about the best religion can possibly do, is maybe make you a nice person, where as a relationship with Jesus Christ can make you a new creation

I'm the same way. Ordered two more today. :toothy9:

Not that I needed it, but I did get a new turkey vest from wing supply. They had a Super Elite III on close out, I think I paid $34 including shipping. Got me a new .22 bolt action set-up for fun too. Just got the scope for it this week, haven't taken it to the range yet.

WildSpur

Yep, me too!  Just when I think I have everything I need I find something else.  Thank God hunting is my only vice!

Yep.. That's me as well. I don't need anything. However, I'm thinking of a new choke tube. That will also turn into some shells. Then I can do some shootin. ;D  The preparation leading up too the season is just awesome. Especially right here on OG!

Not so much yet. Been pretty cold lately.

A few warm days here and there and I find myself daydreaming about hearing the years first gobbles.  ;D
"Was that a gobble?":gobble:

FttFttVroom!

65 degrees today and saw a few groups of turkey on the way to church!

Been shooting trap to keep me shotgunning. Also looking forward to Ohio Deer & Turkey Expo in March.

I guess I'm the same but different in a way. I keep looking at different states and adding up expenses to see if I can get more tags lol.Forget the new gear just make sure you have tags,shells,maps,shotgun/bow,and gas/motel money.

Same for me.  Other than a few new mouth calls, my money is stashed away for out of state trips.  Fuel, food, license, etc. ....it's not cheap even when you poor boy it like we do every year.  It is easy this te of year to get the blood boiling thinking about chasing turkeys.
