I may be the one person that doesnt like them. I have them for 3 of my guns and took them all off this year. I love how they feel to hold and shoot but they are annoying as heck to me on my shoulder or packing my gun all over the world running and gunning. That extra part of the stock just gets in my way or intermittently is uncomfortable. Not worth it for me. May change my mind later, but I doubt it. They are comfortable to hold, shoot, and cool to look at though.

Want me to take one of those off your hands?  ;D ;D

I put the Shurshot stock on my 11-87 and love it. There are some directions for the removal and installation on the 870 forearm rails. I will search and see if I can find the info. for ya. Here is a pic of mine.

Did you have to do alot of altercations to the stock before you put it on there. i've got a youth model 870 20 guage, and i really want to change the stock out. i really like the shurshot and the way it looks, but i just wanna make sure it will fit on there well.

The shur shot stock is a very nice stock and it should have everything you need with it.  I put one on an 1187 and it feels better than my Benelli steady grip.

I just put one on my 870 and I love it. The only problem I had was getting the forearm nut off. I didn't have a tool but found that a "50" cent peace fit it perfect.

I put one on my 870 and I love it. I never noticed it being uncomfortable while carryin it and I do alot of runnin and gunnin
