Have to work tonight....just a little freaked out about it...but I do this because it is MY calling in life...there is nothing that I would rather do as a job. Very rewarding, great people and I get to be involved with helping others. I wouldn't give it up for a billion dollars. It does hit home though...

The wreck was a devastating tragedy indeed......although freaked out by it I must say your line of work is still much safer than a lot of others.
I work construction and know of several fatalities that have happened in recent months. Everything from a JLG (man lift) overturning on a river bridge job and the guys in the basket drowned in the Mississippi river to road workers getting hit by vehicles on the highways.
Apologizing: does not always mean you are wrong and the other person is right.
It just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.
