Does anyone here have any experience with one of these sights on a turkey gun?  I have a Benelli M2 20 gauge that is not drilled and tapped.  I am considering the H1 or T1 but looking for opinions before I go drilling and tapping.  Looking for suggestions on the cleanest low profile base possible to work as well.
I may consider going with a FFIII as well but wish to keep this thread dedicated to the AimPoint for the time being...
Thanks for any and all help...

If the T and H-1s are as good as my 15 year-old Aimpoint, and no reason to suspect they aren't, they look like winners and I have drooled over them for as long as they've been available.  The main difference between the two is submersible depth and cost.  I'd go with the cheaper which is still expensive.  I've got a couple of Trijicon Reflex sights, the old Aimpoint and FFIIIs.  I like the size, cost and weight of the FFIII compared with my other dot systems.  I'll see how they hold up this season.  However, the new Trijicon RMR system seems to beat all.  Self-illuminating with fiber optics and tritium lamp, it appears to be the size of the FFIIIs.  It, too, is expensive.  Gil

Gotta be careful things aren`t made the way they used to be!

lmbhngr - Are you refering to the aluminum receiver of the M2?  If I do have it drilled and tapped I was going to have it mounted with as short of a mount as possible (2 hole) and put it as for back on the receiver as possible.  I will also epoxy bed the base with no release agent hoping this will give some added strength.  Most likely using the slow set JB weld.  What do you think?

Gorilla Glue is used by at least one gunsmith successfully.  He prefers it to epoxy.

Who is the gunsmith using gorilla glue?  Contact info?  Would be interested in talking to him..
